Sadly Alan Bowell lost his battle against cancer. He did a wonderful job for the Standon & Puckeridge Hospital Transport Scheme arranging drivers to take people to hospital and the surgery. His widow, Rita, has managed to keep the scheme going during the last few months. She is now looking forward someone to take over this vital job.
